On 24 May pupils of the Tolerance education center of Kalvarija gymnasium visited the embassy of Israel in Lithuania and the US embassy in Vilnius.
Pupils of Kalvarija gymnasium together with the teachers of the Tolerance education center were invited by the Ambassador Amir Maimon to the embassy of the State of Israel in Lithuania and the US embassy in Vilnius, where they met the Cultural Attaché – Meghan Lucket. Israel and the United States are linked to Kalvarija by convolutions of the history of Jewish and German nations as well as by cultural heritage. Pupils were introduced to the peculiarities of the culture of both countries, discussed common history, shared common experiences and future plans.
