On 2 October, teachers of Pagėgiai Algimantas Mackus Gymnasium celebrated Teacher’s Day by taking part in a sightseeing tour of the multicultural city of Kėdainiai.
Audronė Pečiulytė, the head of the Kėdainiai Multicultural Centre, helped the Pagėgiai teachers to get acquainted with the Jews, Russians, Poles, and Scots who had lived in Kėdainiai. The museum specialist presented stories of the different nations who resided in Kėdainiai and showed the surviving buildings and architectural details that tell the story of the city’s multicultural past.
