From 9 to 11 October, an international seminar for educators and museum professionals from different European countries took place in Berlin.
The seminar was organized for educators from different countries to discuss international seminars that have already taken place in Europe and those that are planned for 2022 – 2023. Firstly, the meeting discussed the international seminars held in 2021 and 2022. These workshops took place with the participation of two neighboring countries such as Catalonia, Portugal, Germany, and France.
Two representatives from Lithuania attended the seminar in Berlin: Ingrida Vilkienė, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of the International Commission, and Mantas Šikšnianas, Head of the Paneriai Memorial of the Vilna Gaon Museum of Jewish History. The Lithuanian representatives were briefed on the nature and specifics of the seminars that had already taken place, as an international seminar for Polish and Lithuanian teachers was scheduled to take place in Vilnius from 22 to 24 October.
In addition to sharing experiences of the international seminars and presentations on Russian propaganda, a sightseeing tour of Berlin was organized to learn about the Jewish history of Berlin.
Twenty–five education professionals from 15 European countries attended the international seminar in Berlin. The event in Berlin was organized by the Memorial de la Shoah (France).
