On the 15th of November, a lesson was held for tenth–grade students at the Vilnius Vasily Katchalov Gymnasium on the topic of tolerance.
Eugenijus Sachanevičius, a history teacher at the Gymnasium, invited tenth-grade students to a lesson about tolerance. The teacher invited Ingrida Vilkienė, the coordinator of the educational programs of the International Commission, to talk about tolerance and to present video clips revealing examples of tolerance/intolerance from history. Students performed tests on tolerance and analyzed various life situations.
The non-traditional lesson on tolerance was held at the initiative of teacher Eugenijus Sachanevičius in cooperation with the Secretariat of the International Commission.
