Students from Alytus Adolfas Ramanauskas-Vanagas Gymnasium arrived at the museum to learn about an incident when in 1943, on Christmas Eve, 64 prisoners escaped from the fort. The students not only learnt some historical facts about The Ninth Fort, but also had an educational activity “Escape from the Fort“.
